Listening to Haydn’s The Creation(Die Schöpfung) for the umpteenth time, I finally decided to start an art project inspired by this masterpiece. Composed by Joseph Haydn (1732–1809) between 1797 and 1798, it is undeniably youthful and timeless. In both performance and story, it features a masterful libretto that will stand the test of time. I chose to channel its energy into creating a pictorial version of the oratorio. At the Gallery - J, you will observe the twenty-two works in their formative stages. Gallery - B shows the works midway through, while Gallery - G shows each piece in its final state. I have shared aspects of what goes into creating these works for those unfamiliar with the current evolution of my art practice – Process.
