Process 〰️
The three galleries—Gallery-J, Gallery-B, and Gallery-G—chosen to showcase the creation of these paintings, reflect the three parts that define Haydn’s composition and tell the story of the world's creation. By displaying these pieces at the beginning, during their creation, and at the end, the viewer becomes a witness to the transformation that occurs, from a thought process to a work of art. Like any oratorio whose composition and performance take time, these painting series demand many hours of contemplation and effort. The final paintings are comparable to a brilliant display, involving numerous acts and characters. The multiple climaxes that define such endeavors result from the preceding critical work. This process involves the artist researching the subject in advance, using the knowledge gained to plan a course of action — deciding the order of elements, what should come first, what should come last, and what should be removed.
